Astrum Shah Alam is the flagship Klang Valley project of Setia Awan Group, a developer that built its track record in Perak before expanding into the Klang Valley, Negeri Sembilan and Malacca. The design brief, which Setia Awan labels its H.O.M.E concept (Harmony, Oasis, Modernisation, Enclave), leans on that podium heavily: a 50m lap pool built for genuine laps rather than a photo backdrop, a smart gym with separate male and female weights rooms, a baking studio with working ovens, a karaoke room, and a rooftop multipurpose court painted for basketball, futsal and badminton in one footprint.

Security runs five tiers deep — RFID car plate recognition at the boom gate, CCTV surveillance, patrolling security, an access control system and smart digital door locks at each unit — which matters more than usual here given the site's direct LRT frontage. Car parking is allocated one bay per unit.
